Sultan Bin Sulayem relies Strategic Plan for the Trakhees for the year 2016

The department of planning and development has been careful to achieve its strategic plan for 2016 as per the goals of Dubai Strategic Plan 2021, which has re-formulated the vision, mission from which "licenses" has to keep pace with the escalating development in the sustainable economic development of the emirate and support the overall performance, development of the ports and customs Foundation and the Free Zone.

 

HE Sultan Ahmed Bin Sulayem said, " to proceed from the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, the need to adopt best strategic plans that keep pace with the latest developments in the global and regional developments in order to define our ambitious targets to achieve his directives to make people happy  by stimulating creativity and innovation to improve the quality of services provided to the public through the development and use of the latest smart applications of information technology for competitive Dubai to promote and support its ability to attract trade and investment in order to continue to progress to to be the No. 1 global centre in all fields. "

 

He also said "we are keen to implement the best and latest international standards to regulate the work of the maritime sector in Dubai through " licenses "and its leading role in this area, and permanent quest for improving their performance to strengthen the competitiveness of Dubai  in the field of ports and foreign trade services, and we are working in the Dubai Ports, Customs and Free Zone on the development of the latest innovations and ideas to ensure we achieve the best results of the comprehensive development of the process of our work. "

 

HE Arif Obaid Al Dehail, CEO of the Department of Planning and Development "Trakhees” said these changes were necessary to keep regional and international developments in the UAE. "He also explained that the strategic plan of the institution was based on a ten pillar strategy that includes five basic pillars like leadership and a customer support  , and the five supporting pillars such as community support and technology.

 

In this regard, the institution has launched under the supervision of the Department Corporate Excellence an induction workshop for employees focused on three main themes which included to explain the importance of the strategic plan in 2016 and linked it to cutomer satisfaction and innovation, where the workshop began discussing the vision, mission and organisational values that have been reformulated,  pillars of the new strategy and goals, the staff were introduced to the  Foundation on the preparation for strategic planning and the role of a basic and effective institution and  a new strategic mechanisms to contribute to improve the work and functions of the departments to the highest international standards and provide the best services pursuant to the vision of the wise leadership of the UAE's 2021 vision.

 

The workshop also aimed to shed light on the importance of customer satisfaction as a main strategic plan of the organization, which aims to make the UAE among the best countries in the world by the golden jubilee of Country.

 

The workshop concluded with the release of the innovation program "Fener" to the staff of the institution's customers and which aims to create the best solutions for the development of customer services and investors, and the adoption of the electronic technological innovations, and provide administrative services in accordance with the quality, transparency and efficiency standards.
